There will be a PR to Professionals on Friday morning of the OKRCNA Convention. If you are interested in being a part of the mock meeting please get with Keith, Christian, Earnest, or Angie. There will be a meeting next week either Wednesday or Thursday if you are interested. There will be 6 continuing education units offered to professionals who attend. We expect mostly LPC’s LADC’s & possibly other types of counselors as the participants.

We are thinking about putting miniature PR racks at tithe EASC county seat probation & parole boards. There are 16 counties & we would be asking groups within the counties to keep these racks stocked. A group could maybe take on a 2 or 3 county coverage area (so 2 or 3 racks). It may look similar to H&I having a literature representative in which the person of responsibility would need to get the literature from in which to keep the racks stocked. Maybe even need to be a subcommittee of PR. Pros & cons: pros would be getting groups involved that are not involved in the business of EASC. Cons: funding, this would have to occur over a range of time to get set up initially. We are still hashing it out. The rub might be finding someone responsible to keep these stocked during business hours, for the time frame the probation offices would be open & accessable.
